The Nationals have acquired right-hander Logan Kensing from the Marlins for pitching prospect Kyle Gunderson.
Kensing, 26, is 7-8 with a 5.21 ERA in 108 career games.
Gunderson was 2-0 with a 2.84 ERA in five relief appearances for Class A Potomac this season.

Padres Reacquire Burke From Mariners
After learning that backup shortstop Everth Cabrera has a broken hand, the Padres moved to reacquire Chris Burke from the Mariners.
San Diego traded the utility player to Seattle just three weeks ago.
Cabrera will have surgery and be moved to the 60-day disabled list this week.
"We are currently exploring options for his replacement, both internally and externally," Padres general manager Kevin Towers said Monday, prior to the move. "Our hope is to have a replacement in uniform prior to [Tuesday's] game with the Giants."
Braves Send Pitcher Boyer To Cardinals
The Braves have traded reliever Blaine Boyer to the Cardinals in exchange for minor league outfielder Brian Barton.
Atlanta had designated Boyer for assigned on Saturday.
"I'll miss Atlanta, but I'm fired up right now to be a Cardinal," said Boyer, who had a 40.50 ERA in 1 1/3 innings this season.
Dodgers Ship Delwyn Young To Pirates
The Pirates have acquired outfielder Delwyn Young from the Dodgers in exchange for a player to be named later.
Young, who had been designated for assignment on Tuesday, has batted .267 with three home runs and 10 RBIs in 110 major league at-bats during his career.
Marlins Acquire Penn From Orioles
The Marlins have traded shortstop Robert Andino to the Orioles for pitcher Hayden Penn, a right-hander.
The deal was announced minutes before the teams squared off on Wednesday afternoon.
Royals Trade Gload To Marlins
The Kansas City Royals have traded first baseman/outfielder Ross Gload and cash considerations to the Florida Marlins in exchange for a player to be named.
Gload, who will turn 33 on Sunday, was hitting .280 (14-for-50) in 22 games for the Royals this spring. He spent the past two seasons in Kansas City, hitting .273 in a career-high 122 games in 2008, after being acquired from the White Sox on December 16, 2006.

Reds Trade Keppinger To Astros
The Reds traded Jeff Keppinger to the Astros on Tuesday in exchange for a player to be named later.
"A lot went through my head on the ride over," Keppinger said. "I was wondering if they were going to release me because of the spring I had."
The trade means either Paul Janish or Adam Rosales will make the team as a utility infielder.
